Un-Birthday Party

My sister-in-law, Erin, is extremely creative. Let me emphasize the extremely creative part. She throws birthday parties like no other, with coordinating everything.....from invites, to dresses, to tableware, cake, individual cupcakes, food, outside decor, inside decor, crafts, and today, even her garage.
Aryel & Caitlyn will be turning 6 next weekend. These *non*-identical twin cousins of ours (nieces of mine), have just the perfect mom to help them celebrate in all-girlie style. We all enjoyed the un-birthday theme from Alice in Wonderland, complete with tea sets at each small table, and a toppling Mad-hatter cake. Grandma Charlotte and the girls even put on a little play to get the festivities started.
Our kids got into the spirit as well. Laura wore her Dorothy costume, the boys were superheroes, and Bethany was the sweetest little ladybug.
It is really amazing what Erin can do in such "normal" space. She could easily hire herself out as a party planner. We all had a great time. Happy Birthday, girls!
